Our client revolutionized the forestry industry with their innovative hydraulic system. Over the years, they have extended their product range to include heavy handling equipment and loaders for a variety of industrial sectors, such as scrap metal, waste management, rail, and more.

Needs

Our client had a number of requirements. First, we needed to automate task assignment so that the right tasks were routed to the most qualified people at the right time. Second, the client called on us to centralize communications and relevant documents for each stage of a given process, and to ensure that each required step of a process was executed. Finally, our team also enabled the tracking of any changes made to project-critical data and to the status of each step, as well as to visibility over the evolution of a given process and the various steps performed.

Solutions

Our preliminary analysis revealed that many business processes were not an integral part of the existing ERP.

In fact, several software programs, multiple email communications, Excel files, and other documents had to be exchanged between the various project stakeholders in order for a process to progress.

BeePM process automation was the solution we proposed to meet the client’s needs.

The first stage of the project involved documenting each of the processes to be implemented, using a visual tool so that business people could understand and approve the flow of a process to be implemented.

We then had to configure and adapt these processes to make them available on the web platform.
